Our story
A second company,
built on lessons from the first.
Edgeware is our founder's second company. The first was an outsourcing and outstaffing business, built up and successfully exited. It taught two things we built Edgeware around: clients do not want hours, they want someone responsible for the result — and engineers do their best work when they have a stake in what they ship.
For eight years that meant placing senior engineers inside client teams. Our longest client relationships have lasted more than five years.
Then AI started writing the code. We moved early, because the shift plays to what we were already good at: the expensive part of software is now specification, integration with messy real-world systems, and keeping things running — all of which take experience, not typing speed.
